BMC Practice Information

At the BMC location, four general practitioners / family physicians are working in this medical practice. They are Mr J.I. Schräder, Mrs I. Stokman, Mrs S. Wolzak and Mrs C.A. Croese. All four doctors are BIG-registered.

In addition to the four doctors, there are four medical assistants who help you to make an appointment or just to reschedule your existing one. They also help to repeat a prescription. Our medical assistants are qualified to perform certain medical procedures. Such as there are taking someone's blood pressure, and 'or blood glucose level. They also perform urinanalysis (urine analysis) including a pregnancy test. Furthermore our medical assistants syringe clogged ears, treat wounds and bandage them. ECG or EKG can also be made. And Rose, Merry and Yhourzeniv are able and qualified to assist in minor surgeries.

Prescriptions

To apply for a repeat prescription, you can call our recipe line. You can do this by calling 715 3000 and choosing option 2. Or you can send a what’s app message to +599 777 3297.

When ordered before 10:30 pm, the medicin can be picked up after 3 pm the next businessday at the farmacy.

Temporary inhabitants & Tourists

Inhabitants who live temporarily on the island and tourists as well are more than welcome in our practice. At your first appointment you are asked to bring and show your identity papers or card. You are obliged to pay the costs of your visit at the front desk because you are not a registered inhabitant of Bonaire.

The costs for the consultation are claimable at your health or medical insurance company. Just show them the invoice we provide.
